  • El Chepe: Officially Chihuahua-Pacific railroad, but named for the first letters (in Spanish) of each word- "CH" and "P", El Chepe Express train covers: 86 tunnels, 37 bridges and ascends 2,400 meters. Chepe Regional goes all the way to Chihuahua, but has many stops and is a much longer ride. Los Mochis: By the Sea of Cortez in the state of Sinaloa. El Fuerte: Pueblo Mágico and"birthplace of Zorro" in the state of Sinaloa. Divisadero: Hotel Mirador is on the rim of the canyon, and has the distinction of being one of the 5 best views in the world; Creel is a Pueblo Mágico, population of 5,000 and was once a logging town and last stop on the Kansas City-Mexico Orient railway- the predecessor of El Chepe; Mennonite community: arrived in Mexico in the 1920s from Manitoba, with the largest population in the state of Chihuahua; Chihuahua: The city of Chihuahua was one of the operation base of the División del Norte- the army led by Pancho Villa.
