Xihuacan Archaeological Tour

Xihuacan is the largest ceremonial center and archaeological site of the state, and considered as important as Chichen Itza! The buildings were constructed with river stone and adobe, which was not common in Mexican archeology, making it a very unique archeological place.

 Your friendly and knowledgeable tour guide will first walk you through the archeological site’s museum to educate you on what the ancient center was like, back in its day and have a better appreciation of the ancient grounds that you are about to walk through.  That will get your Indiana Jones’ juices flowing and ready for the next step: Exploring the ruins themselves! Your tour guide will of course be guiding you through the archeological site, giving you fascinating facts along the way. 

This is especially recommended for anyone taking a Spanish course.
