Mi Casa es Tu Casa: Tastes of Coacoyul & Zihuatanejo

Close your eyes and think of the wonderful aromas of Mexico… Just like anywhere, certain families are known for their cooking. Here in Mexico, many of those families open their doors to serve their prized dishes for others as a business. What a wonderful way to supplement the household income, put kids through school, etc! But as a traveler, how does one find those places? Being from one of Zihuatanejo’s oldest families, our very own Zanca knows!

We will take you to 4 of those home-run businesses, located in the neighboring town of Coacoyul or in Zihuatanejo; each serving up their specialties with their family’s secret recipes, handed down for generations. Not all dishes will be spicy, but all will be delicious!
***Most dishes will consist of pork, chicken or beef***
